What to Expect

Our mission is to plan Spirit-led worship services that bring glory to God and at the same time are scriptural, meaningful, and encouraging for those attending.

Sunday Worship

Sundays at 9:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. A dynamic mix of hymns and praise music including praise teams and occasional choir. Led by Mark Warren, Worship Pastor.

Kids Worship Choir

“Sing Praises to God, sing praises, sing praises to our King, sing Praises” Psalm 47:6

cwu-logo.pngKids Worship is on Wednesdays, from 5:30 - 6:15 p.m. for grades K-6 in rooms D236-237 during the school year. Kids Worship ministry opportunities for kids to glorify the name of Jesus through singing, motions, drama, games and more.

Adult Opportunities to Participate

We have a place for you! Opportunities exist for all ages in choir/vocal, instrumental, and drama ministries.

To sign up for any of the ministry opportunities listed, all music ministry participants need to complete a registration form.

Production Service Opportunity

We offer multiple opportunities to serve in our Worship Production ministry and will gladly provide the training where needed. Tech Help opportunities also available during weekly Bible Study and Discipleship events. Contact ddorsey@fbcforney.org.

Launch Worship Workshops

    Launch is a new, more in-depth time of community and training that we will do every year as we grow together here in the Worship Ministry of First Baptist Church Forney.

    These four weeks will include Main Sessions with outside leaders, such as Kaleb Moore, Lead Worship Pastor at Prestonwood Baptist Church, and Kristen Brewer, Writer and Director at Sight and Sound Theatres (Esther, Daniel). There will also be breakout sessions for your area of focus, including instrumentalists and vocalists. On July 20, this will also include the Tech Team and Story Team. We ask that you do your best to attend all four weeks.

    • July 27: 3 pm-5 pm in the Worship Center
    • Aug 3: 3 pm-5 pm in the Worship Center
    • Aug 10: 4 pm-6 pm in the Forum
